La Madeleine

La Madeleine
Elegant Corinthian columns graced the entrance of the church, distincted by its Grecian facade. Its name 'Madeleine' is derived from Mary Magdalene.

There are another madeleines from Northeastern France - traditional sweets that look like cakes. In fact, I thought they are cakes. They have these unique shell-liked shapes and taste very well with a mild tangy fragrance. I carried some in my haversack when I was on walking trips.
